My year in review

2014 was an awesome year for me. Here are some of the highlights.

My son and daughter in law moved back from Texas and San Francisco in March 2014 after being away for 8 years!


My daughter was married on March 8, 2014



My hubby and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on April 20th and renewed our vows.





We BBQ'd, ate BBQ, enjoyed swimming, dining out with family and friends







Sad news was I had to put down my 2 boys Bradley (18) and Elvis (16 1/2) on October 3, 2014





My son took me on a road trip for my birthday (Nov 20-23, 2014) to Tupelo and Memphis to see Elvis birthplace and Graceland lit at Christmas time




It truly was an incredible year!!!  Hope 2015 is as wonderful...

Pets tug at your heart.....

Wow, today is such a hard day for me.. I had to put down, not 1 but 2 of my poodles.  Bradley was 17 and Elvis was 16.  They were 1/2 brothers and were together through everything.  Elvis wouldn't even pee anywhere else unless it was right by his brother. Bradley was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in May 2011.  He lived longer than the 6 months the vet gave him at that time.  Elvis has had seizures since he was a puppy and developed tumors growing on him over the past 2 years.  They both lost control of bladder and had to be let out almost every 15 minutes, thank goodness for my hubby that he was able to be here with them the last year when it got so bad. Bradley could hardly walk anymore, most times falling down and having a hard time getting back up. The last couple of nights he was becoming very restless and could not settle down to sleep... Murrells Inlet - "Seafood capital of South Carolina"

Murrells Inlet is located south of Surfside Beach and Garden City.   Murrells Inlet is split between two counties  Horry and Georgetown Counties. The town was once primarily a fishing village, but has grown substantially.  It is most known for the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk —the 1/2 mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine saltmarsh—and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. One of my favorite attractions is the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens .
