A Small Town with "Big Flavor"

Continuing on our tour of the county our next stop is at the northern end of the Myrtle Beach area at a town called Loris.

LORIS QUICK FACTS:
23 miles from the coast of South Carolina
7 miles  from the North Carolina state line
Loris was incorporated on July 26, 1902
The annual Bog-Off Festival attracts approximately 25,000 people.

Loris began as a railroad town serving the lumber industry in the late 1880's and became the first town in the state to have its own newspaper, high school, bank, telephone system and doctor.

Today, the revitalized downtown area offers shopping, dining and southern hospitality.  Enjoy the local farmers market.

For more information about Loris and homes for sale in the area call or email me.
